Surprised theres only one topic on this shitshow

Parliament voted today to essentially force PM to request a delay to Brexit until legislation is passed

BJ sent the request to the EU in order to comply with law but immediately followed it with another letter basically saying ignore plz

What a joke lmao

To be fair, opposition parties have been intentionally sending conflicting signals for months now. First they demanded an election because they said Johnson wasn't elected, and then when he offered one they said oh wait nevermind. Then they demanded that he make a deal or request an extension, and then when he actually cuts another deal with the EU they turn around and say oh wait nevermind we're not going to vote on it until you request an extension anyway.

And the kicker is that everybody knows they're going to vote against it anyway. It's painfully obvious that their goal is to drag this whole process out even longer until somebody finally cracks and said screw it never mind.
