Topic	Im confused as to how a tactical war RPG can also be a dating sim.

But Genealogy still lacks the player avatar aspect, so it's just a "matchmaking sim" rather than a "dating sim" like Awakening, Fates, and Three Houses were. Plus it actually tied into the story of that game with the second half of the game focusing on the second generation of characters.
