Imagine being Leto. You get a huge comic book role that you're signed onto for years. You get your own solo movie and you get to turn up in fun crossovers. It's a dream gig.

Then it turns out the role gives you a whopping 15 minutes of screentime and you're never called back.

Imagine being a Chadwick Boseman

You get a huge comic book role that youre signed into for years. You get your own solo movie and get to turn up in fun crossovers. Its dream gig

Then it turns out youre being introduced in a huge team up movie and theres 12 other heroes to compete with. Youre only given like 10 minutes of screen time when all is said and done. Oh and btw were introducing Spider-Man along with you, but dont let that phase you. Youre important too. Also your solo movie will make you a champion and symbol for your race worldwide. No pressure.

I walked out of Civil War and black panther was my favourite character in that very bloated movie.

Now obviously those are different circumstances and its never all on the actors shoulders for how a role ends up being received. But it think its a nice counterpart to having some tough odds standing to them.

As far as Letos joker. The question in my mind all comes down to how did he play the hand he was dealt? The costume? Writing? Story? Editing? Its hard to say what Leto was dealt and what Leto played. that movie was such a cluster fuck From a hundred different angles. But at the end of the day his actions behind the scenes are telling to me.

He was dealt a shit hand and played it poorly.
