| foolm0r0n 10/10/19 10:01:37 AM #2: | It's a break up and treat it as such. The goal is to keep the other person on a short leash so you can pull them back whenever you want. I was the same as her and did that with my gf back in the day and it was terrible. She was able to fully cut the cord which was really good for all involved, so you should do the same. Give it some time and if you don't find anyone else that's better than you can try hitting her up again and see how it goes. That's a real break, where the default state is never seeing the person again, but if things align then you could get back together and be stronger.
