The fact that we accept 100% something that the government forces people to take (Especially in mega doses at birth and up) which isn't 100% safe, is a problem.

Do you or do you not believe that vaccines present a greater risk than the diseases they prevent?

No. The difference between other medical procedures is that we have the choice to decide. This is the only one I know of where there is a big push for people not to have a choice

I do actually agree that the push for vaccines being mandatory is a questionable infringement of medical autonomy, and I'd prefer it weren't coming to this. The fact of the matter, however, is that people are really friggin' stupid when it comes to vaccines, and the only way to keep that stupidity from bringing back a terrifying number of very serious diseases that had been all but eradicated (measles is already back) is to stop letting those stupid people decide for themselves (or at least keep them from sending their unvaccinated kids into public places, which is what the actual push is).

I understand how you feel, but if you and your friends/family get vaccinated, do you really think it would affect you? I haven't heard a real case of any outbreaks. If others choose not to do or do anything stupid, we should allow it within reason. It's called negative rights. If we make it a law that the govt can inject us with whatever they want to, then that's what they'll do. Plus, Darwinism..
