It's sad to see so many people in the US supporting Warren and Sanders. Socialism has failed miserably everywhere it's been tried in the history of the world.

Trump may be a mediocre president, but man he looks good compared to the current democratic candidates.

I'll call the Nordic countries and let them know they failed.

nb4 "That's Democratic socialism!"

nb4 "That's what Sanders is."

First of all, the nordic countries have been succesful before they even adopted welfare policies. Second, to suggest they are socialist countries is absurd. They are among the countries with the most economic freedom in the world, and are based on a highly free market system, which is the exact opposite of what socialism is. Just to give you an idea, there is no minimum wage there.

Lastly, if you think Warren and Sanders want America to be more like the nordic countries, you must be extremely naive. Just by listening to them, one can tell those guys want to control and regulate basically everything (aka true socialism).

1. The US has been successful before adopting welfare policies.
2. https://jacobinmag.com/2018/06/regulation-economic-freedom-index-scandinavia
3. They don't need a minimum wage when they have strong unions.
4. interesting definition of socialism, but here's the actual definition: a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.
