There sure as hell are plenty of Democrats who want to ban guns like AR-15s and AK-47s that have no place outside of a battlefield. We want restrictions on guns. If we could get our way, access would be limited for those who can't responsibly handle them, the amount of guns floating around in the USA would be reduced, and the most dangerous types of guns would be illegal. However there is no way the Democratic party as it is now would try to take away all guns. And Beto is completely within the bounds of this, so stop trying to make Beto's remarks into something they aren't. There are tens millions of those types of guns in circulation without being used for harm. No matter how you try to spin it, it is pretty clear what you really think and want. In terms of strict numbers, handguns are used for most crime but you don't see amendment haters like Beto and other major Democrats talking about those.
