Strange KFC is way more expensive here, then poppeys. Poppeyes also has spicey extra crunchy chicken (very nice, crunchy but light batter (with a spicey flavor). KFC just has original or extra crispy, and now grilled. A 2 piece from KFC is 6$, but includes a breast and wing. A 2 piece of leg/thigh (but you can get 2 legs) from poppeyes is $3 (might have been like $3.20). So it's half the cost, you can also get a 10 piece for $15 (which is prob what I will get next time). I used to get tons of flyers and coupons from both (and never went there), which I got one now. Anyway, I'll give KFC's extra crispy another go. I think the 8 piece from them was around $15 (just for chicken), awhile ago....I'll call and check (doesn't show on the menu). That is close enough to the $15 for 10 pieces from poppeyes to at least give them a shot. Major difference being when I went to poppeyes last week or so, I wanted more right away and have been waiting to go back.
