Sadie bugs me because it makes RDR1 make no sense in Retrsospect.
Why didn't John ask for Sadie and Charles help?
Sadie risked her life to bust John out of prison but won't lift a finger to save Abigail and Jack? Wut?
Sadie says she is going to South America at the end, and I believe Charles says he is going to Canada.
They didn't exactly have the internet to get the message out to them back in 1911.

You're just rationalizing.
You're not being blackmailed into killing the entire gang, just Bill, Dutch and Javier because they are active.
In fact John was just told to kill Bill. Then the stakes escalated when Javier and Dutch turned up and the assignment expanded.
John would totally want to just break Abigail and Jack out. The plot only makes sense because John is establised to have no friends.
Charles, Sadie, John and Uncle combined could easily bust Abigail and Jack free. Look how easy it was to save John in RDR2

Also, if they were only killing "active" members, why did they end up killing John at the end?
Well in the first game it was because
They had to justify their salaries. They weren't going to let John off the hook for his crimes.
But due to RDR2 it's more likely revenge for the death of Ross' buddy
I mean don't forget Archer wasn't there
So basically, they would have killed Sadie and Charles.
