After a certain age group, you're likely no longer dealing with people killing themselves due to life issues or depression or other psychological reasons, and start moving into the range where people are killing themselves because medical euthanasia isn't an option and they have health issues that they no longer feel willing or able to deal with. You may also start shading into dementia-driven suicides that don't necessarily represent the normal mindset of the individual.

I'd honestly expect suicide rates in general to be a reversed bell curve.

Maybe a bit of a sine wave. Low chance of suicide before teens, high from teen to 35, then a dip down from 36 to 50, then a uptick as the years go on. Either due to dementia, loss depression, or medical reasons.
