Jake Muller was the only campaign in RE6 that actually had emotion in it. Chris, Jill, Leon returning in RE4,5 and 6 added absolutely nothing and the games would have been fine (if not better) with new protags with new personalities. I say use new characters and new ideas with exisiting ones only popping up when relevant or being referenced in notes. And reuse the old ones in the side games like Rev for the people that miss them. I really don't want RE8 to be Chris and Leon again in a Lab shooting blob monsters with AK-47s. RE7 and the RE2make just showed how that's not the direction RE needs to go. --- ...
