| Frolex 08/23/19 11:55:22 AM #61: | Weird how the concept of "personal responsibility" only falls on the people who are affected by problems and not the people creating them. That the "responsibility" for wages that have been stagnant from over a decade a decade before millennial were even born, a financial crash toppling the largest economy in history that occurred when millennial were still in high school, cuts to public funding for education and financial that were implemented by policies and politicians elected when millennials were studying US history in elementary school, all falls solely on the shoulders of the people that are now suffering the fallout of decades of people abusing the largest growth period the US economy's history for their own short term personal gain.That the only "responsibility" that exists among anyone in the United States comes in the form of young people making the choice that no generation in the nation's history had to make between willingly capping their lifetime earnings and ability to make a living wage capable of supporting a family, or saddling themselves with a lifetime massive debt at crippling interest rates. People don't actually care about personal responsibility, they just feel uncomfortable with facing the prospect of being held accountable for fixing the thing they broke. --- ...
