And I'd like to take a minute, my story's about to begin
I'll tell you how I became the emperor of a city called Houston

In North Delaware, born and raised
On the computer is where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
And working so I can get into a really great school
When a couple of chromosomes screwed me over for good
Had to pick the best school that I could
I picked a really expensive school and my mom got scared
And said "You better pick somewhere cheaper or anywhere that's not there!"

I begged and pleaded with her day after day
But she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way
She gave me a hug and then she gave me my ticket
I put my Etika Headphones on and said "I might as well kick it"
Flying basic economy, yo, this is gucci
Avengers endgame as the complementary movie!
Is this what the people of Houston living like?
HMMMMMMM. THIS MIGHT BE ALRIGHT!
But wait, I hear they're city, bourgeois, and all that!
Is this the type of place that they should send this cool cat?

Well, uh, the plane landed and when I came out
I thought I lost my bags, I had some serious doubts
I ain't trying to screw up yet, I just got here!
I eventually found them, I thought they disappeared
I found my pops' friend and when he came near
The license plate said 'Fresh' and it had dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this dude was baked
But I thought "Nah, forget it, yo holmes- to UH!"
I pulled up to the dorms about seven or eight
And I yelled to the man "Yo homes, smell ya later"
Looked at my kingdom, it was finally about to begin,
To sit on my throne as the Emperor of Houston!
