| Topic | Back when you were in school, was it looked down on to get good grades? |

I have heard stories from friends up north (in new jersey specifically) on how they had to deal with the "acting white" BS from their peers though. From the talks we used to have about our highschool experiences, they gave me the impression that going to an inner city school in new jersey was god awful. (I mean yeah, a lot of us grew up seeing films like lean on me, but you can expect a movie to exaggerate things at times.
