Maybe that's what's up with Aron and Flygon. I used to have a bunch of accounts in which the username was already reserved for later activation. Those accounts were created prior to the changes made to the registration system back in 2015. There was roughly a 5 1/2 month period between December 2014 and 5/19/2015 were User IDs were probably assigned when you click on the activation link that gets sent to your email address. I never did this for any of my accounts, which allowed me to reserve usernames without having User IDs assigned to them.
