| Yellow 08/12/19 8:15:04 PM #1: | Anyone else get real dissociative? I was while driving home after an hour of hectic overtime. It's like watching a puppet do things that you would do. You don't feel your body at all, you don't recognize your reflection (that's not a literacy cliche, it's just another person), you forget things hours at a time, you forget who you're talking to. Pieces of your memory are just removed. Going into it ranges from annoying to pleasant. Coming out is always uncomfortable, like a mild constant panic attack. For me it only happens after a crazy workday. There's always a very mild feeling if I'm not working with someone who's engaging, but full on episodes take a workday that makes people's souls break. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
