Fair. I learned to type on an old Olivetti typewriter, so I had to actively teach myself to stop hammering the keys when I switched to a computer later on. I have trouble with dislocating my wrists and fingers if I get up to my full speed from years ago, now, so I have to be more careful, though it still happens every now & then when I get really angry.

Of course I've tried pizza, just not this kind.

I typed on non-electric typewriters waaay in the past as well, and no way could I type nearly as fast as on electric ones later, or especially keyboards. I typed pretty fast as a kid (especially considering this was the late 70's and early 80s), but when I was 19, I went to a vocational school to become an electronic tech.

All the other students going to the school did not have their deplomas and had an hour a day that they worked on getting their GED. I used that time to practice my typing in the computer lab (the vocational school also had a secretary program...which I kinda wish I had done instead...since I only worked as an electric tech for like 2 years). Anyway, every day (for 9 months m-f), I practiced typing and increasing my speed. That is pretty much when I got up to my best speed.

Mudding etc, well......it's not really typing exactly, but reacting and was actually probably bad over all for my real typing speed because I have to think more about what I'm typing (and avoid using your instead or you're or mud slang etc), especially if I am typing stream of consciousness etc.

I'm good if it's like a typing test where I just need to type out something I'm reading etc though, which is why I was still able to get high speeds and win most battles back when I did the online typing competitions. The best players have around your speed (190-195), but they are extremely rare. I don't think I ever saw anyone, or competed against anyone, with over 140.

Anyway, pheeew, that makes more sense about the pizza lol. I mean....if you have allergies etc, I could see never getting to try pizza...but....I'm not sure if such a life is worth living!!
