We're being told all sorts of narratives. This topic itself has a narrative.

Exactly. Unless you're pouring over data points and making connections and inferences yourself, there is a very likely chance that some type of bias, automatic or intentional, is being spun into the message.

Yes, and it's not just the media either. Politicians and government agencies frequently try to tell people how they should connect the dots. And all of those narratives inform the general public who, in turn, try to pass along narratives to one another. It's why you'll hear the same talking points parroted by supporters; a few years back, liberals constantly brought up Somalia as a need for government overregulation, for instance.

That's an amazing piece of art. They're from opposing "political channels".

They keep everyone fighting in their own little groups about meaningless things, but they fucking own it all.

They're from local affiliates of those larger networks (and specifically television stations owned by Sinclair media). The national outlets are the ones with the more sustained, opposing biases. Individual tv stations carry some of the content provided by the national network (carrying on that network's biases) but also create their own content (which instead goes to the station's or station owner's biases)
