Do you unlock any of the characters by the "challenger approaches!" method of melee or are they all automatically unlocked when you fill the conditions like beating classic mode. How many characters are there now, minus DLC? Yeah, it's done by the same "challenger approaches" method. Cool thing here is that if you lose, it lets you rematch them in the Games & More menu.
