Quick Recap: A Texas judge made an absolutely insane ruling the the ACA had to be struck down in its entirety because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and inseverable. It got appealed and is now in the 5th Circuit. It's currently being heard by a 3 judge panel, 2 of which are Republican appointed (Trump and Bush 43.) Oral arguments started today and reporters there seem to have come away with the impression that the 2 R judges are hostile to the ACA/receptive to the Texas ruling. Trump's DOJ is arguing that the ACA should be struck down and the Texas judge ruled correctly.
