I think it's hard to say that the little mermaid is a movie about white people......

What exactly would make a movie about white people? Is it even possible to have a movie where being white is a central aspect of the main character?

I'll defend Disney's casting decision. But it just dawned on me that there's essentially no way to make whiteness a central aspect of a character.

I can't imagine a black John Smith in Pocahontas.

Then again I doubt they'll ever make that movie again.

I don't think Merida from Brave will ever be played by a minority.

Well I mean those were people whos race/ethnicity actually played a part in their character.

Y'all are upset over a FUCKING MERMAID

Who is an iconic ginger

Youre still a grown ass man upset over a disney princess lmfaooooo

Doesn't change the fact they're ruining an image beloved by many, for no good reason.

Go cry about it some more
