I was wondering where they'd go after reinventing the Spider-Man origin story with Homecoming, but I should have known they would nail every part of this Spidey who now has a little more experience under his belt. There's already been so much said about the illusion scenes, so instead I'll say how much I Ioved the Mysterio reveal scene. It's the MCU/millennial equivalent of him having a whole studio and camera crew behind him while he chews the scenery over how brilliant he is. Again the writers know the plot beats that Spidey fans are familiar with, and know how to rework it all for a new Marvel universe and new generation of fans.
