Topic	Why are people stilling willing to vote Democrat?

If the democrat thing is working, why are people leaving those areas? Austin is Liberal, but it's in a state that is, at this point, mostly republican. And I'm not saying I'm strictly Republican. Gay marriage, Abortion, Obamacare, those are all great things.
