Why are people still voting for either party? Both are obviously corrupt and don't give a single shit about anyone not in the 1%.

Generally all politicians are greedy and corrupt. Like, who really wants to make a career out of wielding power over the populace? Maybe a small group that really want positive change but the majority just want that power

Eh politics are rigged. That's why we have the electoral vote.

The electoral vote actually causes an imbalance in the value of people's votes, giving more worth and representation to votes in lesser-populated states than votes in higher populated states.

Wyoming:
- 3 votes
- ~577,000 people
- 577,000/3 = Each electoral college vote represents 192,333.333 people
Texas:
- 38 votes
- ~28 million people
- 28,000,000 / 38 = Each electoral college vote represents 736,842.105 people.

If the electoral college was actually balanced, Texas should have a lot more electoral college votes based on how many people live there.

Electoral voting is government control. It's not supposed to make sense.
