I mean, why clearly design them to be extremes and give them not-extreme characteristics? Plus, it's ridiculous anyway. This guy flies and shoots lasers from his eyes. That guy climbs walls and senses incoming threats he can't see or hear. But you know, that second guy has girlfriend problems so he's more relatable.
