For me I commute 2 - 2.5 hours a day so telecommuting is just more efficient use of my time. I truly wish I could convince management to allow a solid 2 days a week minimum telecommute. I've proven I'm networked in all the time and manage all my business and than some. However, some of the older managers just don't totally realize the value in remote work.
