To make them not vote, or feel motivated to represent themselves.
There has been a huge polarity shift between religious/secular people in the past couple of decades, especially when it comes to Millennials and Generation Z. The US government is still trying to push it's authoritarian "in god we trust" and other Christian morals on the population, continuing to propagate the ageism divide so the older generations can exploit us for one or two more election cycles.

It's pretty sickening.
We are getting closer and closer to a breaking point where the majority of the people in the US aren't Christians. Which I can't wait for because I absolutely abhor the dry authoritarianism that comes with Christians.
