Meganekko 06/18/19 8:36:16 PM #1: | Too many unnecessary roadblocks because I don't have some item from somewhere else Exploring should be fun and always lead you somewhere interesting and rewarding Reaching a place I can't do anything with and having to backtrack and go somewhere else only to find another thing I can't do, without having been rewarded much while traveling through these places, is bad game design. What's the point of having a big world to explore if the developers want me to go to specific points in sequence? Rabi Ribi is still the best "metroidvania" because it avoids this and lets you do anything you want right away. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
