Reddit I've barely ever touched, though, and Pinterest I binge maybe several times a year. And I don't really actively use anything except YT, although I'm trying to get into IG. The real problem isn't whether or not statistics are made up, it's that even when statistics are 100% factually accurate, the vast majority of people have no idea what statistics mean or how to interpret them anyway. So they become less of a tool of science and more a tool of rhetoric. You mean people can LIE with statistics?!
