So then my follow up question was, what does any of that have to do with hair? And if it doesn't...why was it mentioned at all? Well reading the tweets, it seems she wanted to get aspects of her story correct to real life (at least as far as human physiology was concerned) so that her reader wouldn't be taken out of the immersion.
