Did it go on your shoulder?

She loves hanging out on my shoulder :3

I thought so. The first show of affection my parakeet I had as a kid did was go onto my shoulder. It didnt live to see a year due to catching pneumonia from the cold winter though.

Thats heartbreaking :(

Any advice for me? I have a Red Vented Bulbul that I found as a fledgling about a year ago. Until a few weeks ago she's been very calm and happy to hop into my hands when it was time for food or to be let out of her cage.

But now she won't let me carry her, so getting her back into her cage is a nightmare. It can take around 30 minutes of chasing her until she's tired so I can catch her and put her back in. And she'll always escape, since she somehow finds the tiniest opening in the cage when I'm cleaning out her cage or taking her food dish out <_<

Im unfamiliar with that species but maybe shes hormonal?

I had a cockatiel once that flew up on my head at our ranch. We assumed it was a neighbors but never found the owner. Barely saved her though as our cat climber me trying to eat her!

Glad you could save her :)
