it's a harmless-to-humans jumping spider. it is venomous, but the venom wouldn't do anything to you unless you have a weird allergic reaction. also spiders generally avoid biting humans, despite their reputation.
it's not planning to build a web, either. :)
I have 4 birds and one dog. Are they at risk, if the spider came into the house?
