I didn't try drinking until my 30s and now I guess my body weight allows me to drink more. So I have to guzzle it down fast to even get a buzz before it wears off. And I just gave up on it. Every once in a while I have one drink just to slightly relax . But I will probably never feel drunk in my life That's very odd. I had a similar feeling when I first tried to get drunk and actually thought people were faking it. The next night at a party I got drunk and it was great.
