It kind of reminds me when I click on an imgur link and half of that shit is people posting pictures of their dogs or cats calling them doggos or floofs. Even sometimes putting speech captions as if the animal is talking to them or something else. It's very fucking weird. Even worse are people who call them their "fur babies" or even go as far as calling them their "children". Pure cringe. If you die in your apartment, your cat will definitely start eating you within 3 days and a good chance the dog will eventually as well. I love dogs, until I moved to China last year I always had a dog since I was born. My black lab who died from cancer in 2014 was literally my best friend. I would still pick a human baby over any of my dogs. Cool. How virtuous of you. Not virtuous at all. I just have a moral compass that isn't fucked up beyond all repair. You know damn well the other baby wouldn't matter if it was between your child or them. The other baby only matters until it doesn't. We can see that virtue signaling all the way from the U.S. The difference is a dog literally isn't a baby. Of course someone will choose to save their own HUMAN CHILD, but we aren't discussing that.
