I know, males first, but does that still skip to him despite not being a son of Ned's but of another Stark? (haven't actually watched the show, just read the first 3 books and followed some of the major developments) The northern lords supported Sansa over John after he went South to bend the knee to Dany. Even though they followed John, they felt like they we're sold out. Throughout the 7th Season you get to hear some of those rumblings about it. Chances are at this point Sansa has more clout than John. Smashingpmkns posted... Sansa has only shown that she's completely incapable of much yet she gets to sit on the throne. But at least she looked pretty hot in all black.
