Well last night I got to experience something most people get out of the way when they are like 17. I [35M] live in Ohio, but recently I met a girl [23F] from Australia who is here for a month on vacation. Where she is staying is like 15 minutes from my parent's house and like 45 minutes from where I live.

So last week when we went out she said she wanted to go to my parent's house since I mentioned it was so close, so we went and she met my mom and we hung out there for a bit and it was cool. Last night we were going to hang out again and we ending up eating at a place like a mile from my parent's house. Now the person that she's staying with apparently doesn't like guests so we talked about just crashing at my parent's house at night.

Only my dad was going to be home last night so I called him and let him know I would be there later and spend the night and the girl I was with the other night would be with me, and he voiced no objections. We get there at night like 9 and my dad was still awake so he met the girl, talking to her about how she just graduated from college and stuff. He asked if what we were doing later, I said just hanging out at the house and probably staying the night, all he said was lock the doors if you go someplace. Now I have never brought a girl over to my parent's before, and never had one stay over before so there isn't precedent for any of this.

Fast forward to around midnight and we were in my room fooling around (not having full out sex, and we weren't going to) when my dad calls my name cause he wants to talk to me. I go in there and he's like distraught and asks me repeatedly "Is that girl over 18 years old?" I'm like yeah almost shocked he would asked that, but he asked me it like five different times. Then he asked me like five different times "Is this all consensual?" and again I was shocked he would ask me that, but I told him yes. Then he moved onto "Are your protected?" and I honestly didn't feel like getting into an explicit conversation about how we weren't actually having sex, so I just told him chill out and went back to my room. At this point I am telling the girl what he said and while I was annoyed we were both kind of laughing about it. We talked for another 10 minutes then my dad yells again down the hall "I am uncomfortable with this, you have to sleep in different rooms." At this point we got our stuff and left. I dropped her off at her friends house and I drove back home.

TL;DR: I crashed at my parent's house with a girl. My dad questions me to see if the girl is of legal age and if I am forcing her to do things against her will.
