MATCH 1

I like the dark, mysterious feel of Machine Passage, but Recollections is such a jam! I have a pretty clear preference for Recollections here. The accordion and piano in Recollections is really nice and feel-good. It also has kind of a bouncy feel to it as well that I like--maybe because of that 5/4 time?

MATCH 2

This match is much closer for me than the first one. In fact, it's actually really close. Bright and happy rock versus dark, slightly cheesy rock where both of these songs are ones that I like quite a bit. I think I have a slight preference for Douwa Kairou over Your Contract Has Expired, though. It's not for any preference for one type of sound over the other (in other words, I don't have any general preference for darker music over happier music or vice-versa). If I had to put it into words, I'd say it's something along the lines of me liking the instrumentation more in Douwa Kairou. Beyond that, though, I couldn't really express my reasoning in words even though I want to. It's just another one of those things where I can feel it internally. I guess that's not exactly "reasoning," by definition, but whatever.

I like every song here today and the top 3 I like a lot too.
