Because that's part of the job and expected considering we are talking about mentally ill elders, often severely and whereas a nurse isn't supposed to do that at all. Part of a job that nobody wants to do, is highly undervalued in terms of pay yet highly neccesary in society. I chose bad timing to bring this up, but tbh I only ever hear about aged care nurses in the media when they're criticised for fucking up.
