Some girl said she was in love with a guy and I was like "you're twelve, you don't know what being in love means." Frankly, that depends on their level of maturity. Don't forget that it has only been a couple of centuries since 12-year-old girls were expected to be married and sent off to live with their spouse as a matter of course in most countries.
