Some grow out of it or learn better. Some dont. Just because they said something dumb or stupid doesnt mean their whole future is decided. Which you seem to think by what you said. In the end, instead of holding these kids to higher standards, maybe the cop should be held to a higher standard. As the adult and part of a team made to protect the people he was yelling at. We teach our kids not to stoop down to others levels. Like when a younger sibling says something bad to you, and you say something back. Parents would say not to stoop down to their level.
