| saspa 12/30/18 11:42:36 AM #18: | A last generation console would mean something like ps3, which looks fine considering there's like 0 jump between ps4 and ps3, this gen and last gen, besides the fact that this gen has all the bad stuff of last gen times a million. But besides that I don't see how being last gen is a bad thing. Hell if it didn't have online (the bane of the video game industry, bring literally no good and all bad with dlc and micro whatevers and crap) it would be a perfect video game console (instead of that "multimedia entertainment system" crap the other two are doing) And isn't the Switch basically just the Wii? It seems to be following the exact same pattern; huge initial success with lots of people buying it, Nintendo releasing all their heavy hitting first party titles within the first year like marios and zeldas and smash, etc. Only time will tell if it will have anything even resembling 3rd party support, be it ports or otherwise. And I was moderately excited for the idea of trying a grandia 2 update on switch, having only played the just ok first one. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
