Yeah but instead of having a meltdown in public Id say oh actually my name is James. If they called me steve again id assume I look like someone they met before named steve. Back in college a group of friends called me by a different name for years because one guy forgot my name and thought it was funny. We all laughed and then didnt give a shit. This guy isn't your friend. Just because you're weak willed doesn't mean anyone else wouldn't be annoyed.
