Topic	Got my first new console in about 9 years. But why so much junk on Xbox One?

Why would I want to spend a kilobuck building a gaming computer that will be obsolete as soon as I put the last screw in the case, when I can buy a $150 used console that's good for years? I haven't read all of the topic, but you do know that it's not true anymore, right? Like I built a slightly budget gaming PC in 2011 which was able to play most games on decent framerate without any upgrades until I decided to finally upgrade the GFX card that was bottle necking the PC in 2014, and that PC lasted me until I lost it to ex-wife in 2016. I probably still could a lot of the newer games on it, and if it couldn't, it most likely wouldn't take much of an upgrade.
