Just another day at urban schools

This kind of stuff happens way more than most people realize

This is what I'm talking about. If I were to respond with any number of racist incidents in this country that have occurred just this year with "Just another day in Suburban schools", I'd be hit with SJW/Racism accusations. Why is one act indicative of the environment and its participants and not the other?

Because I am more familiar with these environments and I know this is not out of the norm for an urban school.

In your defense, racism (and drugs) can also be rampant at suburban schools.
The school in Wisconsin that had a photo of everyone doing a nazi salute comes to mind. Thats shitty, and reflects poorly on the whole district. Shouldnt happen.

And neither should laying hands on the teacher.

Do you believe the Obama era policy that required schools to be more lenient in punishments due to the discrepancy of black students being in trouble helped or hurt?

I'm pretty sure Trump ended that rule, I read something just the other day about it.

What are your experiences with that mandate?
