Im on season 3. Outside of Tony, who else has really grown as a character? All the gang is the same. The mom never changed. The wife cheated. The son changed. The daughter hasnt really. Chris was the only one that showed development and they backpedaled on it. Thats not very compelling.
Each episode is its own story really. I mean, yeah, you know there is the fbi and mafia stuff but they hardly even touch on it. Its just there and hardly ever leads anywhere outside of Tony becoming Capo.
Then the episodes ate too long when they dont have to be. They literally focus on things that dont matter in any capacity. Its just fluff. If they cut that, the episodes could be a bit shortet and help with the pacing.
The show isnt bad and I see why its important. I really liked the episode with Tonys dreams. I really like the music choices too. Its just that TV got better the last two decades. The wire was more compelling. Breaking bad did everything better especially with cinematography. I personally just dont see how a person could call it objectively a top 3 show.
So maybe you shouldnt call people trolls for having a differing opinion.
