I just think this article is exaggerating how widespread this is and if anything, will further make it a thing.

This is true of so many things these days.

Yup. Similar practice to reporting twitter trends as news when its only a group of users.

Article: This phenomenon has happened frequently enough that some states and cities have taken action.

CE: That's a HUGE exaggeration!

The laws linked in the article for Florida and Washington have been in place since 2012 and 2013, respectively. Which leads me to believe that said laws are, again, akin to fire lane and handicap parking laws.

There is no doubt that people park in those spots when they arent supposed tojust like people who park in handicapped spaces, fire lanes, and even regular gas pumps (though that isnt legal, the point being the convenience). But to act like there is a sudden rise of people purposefully blocking the charging stations to screw over electric vehicle drivers is an exaggeration and articles like this are doing more harm than good by making something more of a thing than it likely is to begin with.

@GregShmedley is basically doing damage control this will happen more Because of this article!.

What about people dont act like children? If they tell them in an article to lick frozen metal poles will they do it too? Lol

Literally defending the rich acting entitled to special parking spaces.
