Topic	Why did we use the Roman names for the planets?

Sol's Day Mani's Day Tyr's Day Woden's Day Thor's Day Frigg's Day Eh, some of them. Sunday is actually derived from German which was translated from Latin (and literally means "day of the sun"). "Monday" is from "Mona", not "Mani" (also no relationship to any gods, just a translation from the Latin). And Saturday comes from Saturn.
