a large number of women believe that any sexual stimulation is 'the penis getting what it wants' and believe that appropriate sexual communication is demanding exactly what they want for the duration, regardless of whether that desire is shared

in my experience this is not a problem that can be resolved.

the reactions people are having to your post here illustrate the issue: the present dialogue about sex has been (somewhat necessarily) focused on the degree to which women have been left unsatisfied by their experiences, and some people take that narrative to extremes.

generally speaking, i have observed that women who feel this way are pretty OK with sex ending early and them finishing the job with their toys, in the event that the sexual interaction is not working for the guy. "my way or the highway" is a somewhat effective strategy if you're fine with the highway.

and basically, that is why it's not really something that can be resolved.

you are, we all are, and it's better if we are honest about it if someone makes this something to argue about during sex. once an argument breaks out, coitus isn't going to continue for long anyway.
