We place too much worth on the concept of virginity, causing perfectly well adjusted and successful people to be ridiculed if they haven't done it by the time they finish high school. It really is stupid that we put so much stock in what is essentially a non-tangible societal concept of purity, and deem when it's right or wrong to be rid of this virtue, y'know - but that's the sort of world that we live in. Though I'm personally okay with a second form of virgin shaming, wherein a virgin chucks a shit over other people having sex and decides to be a snide little dipshit about it. No-one cares if you think every sexually active woman in your life is a dirty slut, stop being such a bitter shithead and learn to live with your unpleasant, shitty self.
