Zelda has Mario being slimy against Samus (and if he gets here, Cloud as well) in her corner, and also the fact that she won this last time Mario on the other hand has people not wanting to see that rematch again, not wanting an all Zelda grand final, and Zelda enthusiasm probably being much lower now cause of her whooping. I'm honestly not sure which wins out but my feeling is that contest enthusiasts (who are the only ones who these factors really apply to) probably support Mario overall from these events and due to the fact we haven't seen Mario/Link yet, as they are probably aren't looking at the results so closely as to fully grasp robberies, so he can slime his way through another one. Mario with 50.04% Cloud v Zelda Simpler match to analyze. Cloud has all the positives of Mario, with none of the slime. I also think that a Zelda coming off a beating from Link is indirectly weaker than Mario, straight up. Cloud Strife with 54.89% --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! ...
